How to record both Adopted and Natural Parents

That technique requires V4 as you need to be able to have different orientations.

Sharing your tree with family members

Someone else will explain better, but that's how PDF works. You get shown the print window. Choose print to PDF & then you will be asked where you wish to save the file to. It will save, not actually print.

V4 multiple diagram orientation - adopted family

Start with a name only text scheme & a very small adopted & birth family to practice. If you are not experienced with diagrams & charts firstly work through “Getting the Most from Family Historian 4” chapters 3,9 & 10.  Too many different techniques are utilised to be described in detail here. Take ...

Ancestral Chart or Diagram

I would suggest starting in chapter3 of getting the most from FH, then chapters 9, 10 & 11. Or main FH Help menu – search help – contents – using FH – How to – diagrams & charts – display a diagram. This will show you how to view an ancestors diagram. Then look in the help again but this time - show...

Surname Change

There are several ways of doing this. Whilst in the focus window, highlight your individual & choose 'add more relatives'. 'Add parent'. This will probably say 'individual already has parents. Add another set?' 'Yes' 'Create new record or link existing record'. The relationship can be set by highlig...

I still work in diagram mode & double click to get the property box for an individual which shows the marriage field.

Married Cousins amp; Duplicates

Hope this helps. John & Marion are cousins sharing Jean & Hutchison as grandparents. Grandparents are shown linked. One set of ancestors from there are hidden using the expansion button.

Married Cousins amp; Duplicates

Use the ancestor chart.
On diagram options choose
check for duplicates.
Hide duplicated family branches.
Link duplicates.
Use family links.
This will link the duplicated grandparents & turn off one set of ancestral branches.

How to display second name in diagram

This is controlled by the text scheme. Go to Diagram Options, Text. Choose a scheme - I think most of them display middle names - certainly 'birth, marriage, death' does.

V4 multiple diagram orientation - adopted family

I am really pleased that I can now achieve this chart in V4. V4 allows multiple diagrams within a chart to each have their own orientation, particularly useful in cases such as adoption.

Take a look at reports menu, outline reports, descendant outline. Go to report options, main, layout events & attributes. Choose 'on separate lines'. Hopefully this is what you are after, & can be tweaked to your requirements.

finding 'lost' websites via Google

I pasted off what was said at 'Code', but did not add additional search terms which is what you were trying to point out.
This immediately produced a supposed scan & download. I could not detect anything but Ad-aware had been crippled so I recovered using system restore.
