I assign them primary name as their birth name. Then any changes after that alternatives or nicknames, as appropriate.

Yes, as just mentioned, don't use Word to edit HTML coding, it is terrible at it. Can't recommend to you what to use, as I do all the hard coding using a text editor myself.

Thing that I would find good about it is with notes about the location and photographs. So lets say you have the family farm, stories about things that happened there are notes and photos of the buildings. Just a passing comment, since I have started using FH, ever single week I want more and more to have locations as their own items / records like individuals, families etc. Oh it would make life so, so much easier.

How about support of the vCard format (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VCard) for a person's contact details?

I was aware of the legislation pages from the Victorian Government. I was looking for a page somewhere that some genealogist has connected the dots and worked out what it means already. Very surprised that it doesn't exist.

Are there any Victorian genealogists on here?

I am trying to find out exactly what I am allow to 'publish' / make available to others in which particular situations.

Information that actually sets it out is very thin on the ground.

Further to this, see that you can have multimedia associated with events for an individual. Is there no way to output those to a report? I can think of a lot of situations where this would be good, such as wedding photos both of people and the church, christening photos etc.
