Pleased to report that v1.9 worked perfectly with both diagnostics on and off. All settings saved OK to NAS mapped drive.
It took 25 seconds from reporting the missing files (of previous discussion) to completing the registry backup.
Anything further , let me know.

Thank you for the warning, I will locate the files and sort it.
Your change solved the problem with the laptop thank you and Registry keys were saved; to NAS.
The only problem was the missing icons, which will be a simple job now that I know.
