I'm trying to pin down when my grandparents moved from Letchworth to Welwyn Garden City. From Find My Past I have them in the Spring 1926 Electoral Roll in Letchworth, and then in 1927 in WGC (no Spring or Autumn given). You could always edit your ged file with a text editor (eg Notepad), and use the replace function there. Of course you'd have to be careful if you have the 'Have Image' text anywhere else.

Make a copy of your ged file first, just in case!
