I was trying to add a column for custom ID, as in my screenshot. all other windows will let me do this, just not that one, I can type it in and it will add it, its just the button to insert data reference does not work.

I have found what I believe to be a bug in the research notes window ( I have submitted a support ticket ) When I try to add a new column and select "Other" I get the pop up box and can add a column name heading but the button to insert Data Reference does nothing, are other users seeing this? I think that is because the List All Citations plug in is listed as version 1.6 but the version number inside the plug in still reads 1.5

Works fine on my laptop with W10 AU. Have you thought about trying Open Office, it is totally free, compatible with MS Office. Not sure it is any better than Word, but nothing to lose by trying it

The reason it was so large is that there were 69 embedded images, these have been extracted and saved separately to the Gedcom file.  I do not know of any way to get the file into Family Historian with the links to the media preserved. Hi, What you need to do is run the query, then click on the columns tab,in the right hand window, in the heading box, type a suitable heading, i.e. Relationship, in the expression box type =Relationship(FileRoot()) then click on the add box, run the query and you will have the column headed relation...

I had the same subscription for a year (hardly a fraction of the cost though !!) but went back to ancestry, as the search routines on ancestry are far better, as are the images (jpg vs pdf), ancestry also has all the census from 1841 - 1901, thegenealogist do not yet have them all, in particular, 18...

Any feedback would be better than none at all !!
