Have a look at Descendant Outline under Outline Reports. Just select the one ancestor you want, where it asks you.
I think it is what you are after.

It sounds to me, that what you are looking for is an 'Ancestors and Descendants Diagram' based on one of your daughters.

So what about the Ipad ??
Why not just add it to the wish list they can only say no. However in the meantime the CD method in FH might be the better option rather than investing in another genealogy package. I would be very interested to hear how you get on with the CD option, if I can be of any help send me a message or ema...

Evidence Management
I followed this thread earlier in the year with great interest. Now it's coming round to the time of year when I get more time for research. Like most, by the sounds of it, my recording of sources was not as good as I would like it. So I am thinking of going back and using EM to recheck my family tr...

Military History Fact Set Mark 2
I have just used this updated facts set. In particular the Internment Fact and in my particular case I need a start and finish date for the event. Is this possible to set up? Also would there be a use for a POW event as well? Which again could do with a start and finish date.

All Related Families Reports Query?
I would like to produce a CD to compliment an 'All Relatives' chart. But I would like it to be of related families reports rather than individuals. Is it possible? I can see a query for 'All Relatives' but not one for 'All Related Families' if a query is the way to do it, could someone please help m...

So what about the Ipad ??
Last night I managed to download the CD files onto my phone. They would not run in auto like using an App. But using the phone's file manager I found the files clicked on the index and it opened. I could then select the files and link between them just as I would with the the CD. If my phone (Nokia ...

So what about the Ipad ??
Thanks Richard, I am glad to find someone who has actually used an Ipad and interested in FH. I wonder if I could ask you to try making the CD with FH. You don't need to do everyone on your tree, just a few will do to see if it works. Instead of burning a cd try downloading the resulting files onto ...

So what about the Ipad ??
Thanks for your replies. I hoped there would have been an Ipad user as well, perhaps one will turn up later. I have now made a CD of my FH file, what I want to know now is, does the CD only work on windows operating PCs. It works using an internet browser, so perhaps it will work on an Ipad assuming...

So what about the Ipad ??
I am surprised that the Ipad has not been discussed on here. With what little I have seen of it, it would appear ideal for us both in the research situation or to display to relatives what you have discovered. Does anyone use one for these purposes? You can load pdf files into it's library, so presu...

Downloading files
I am using Firefox with the Enhanced Ancestry viewer, it was a little more to do than just a mouse click to download and setup but if you follow the instructions you should be ok.

Downloading files
I had similar problems, I couldn't download AS or any other downloads from this site or access pdf files on another site. I wondered if it might be one of the many w7 updates. So I tried using a different browser and the problem disappeared. Try it, if it then works it will prove there is nothing wr...

Indexing / filing photos
How do you store your photos? I have been scanning in old photos and using for the file name, the names of the people in the photo in the order that they appear L to R. This is not very good when trying to find a particular picture later on, particularly if you cannot remeber the name order in the p...
