Re: Evernote Plugin?
I think that's getting quite specific, you could just put it on the same line as the 1st spouse with no title. That's ok I thought I asked just in case it was something simple. One last thing which is also specific could you tell me where to insert code to create a tag that will be for every item f...

Re: Evernote Plugin?
I've just noticed that when you OK the HTML window it runs the plugin as well so you cannot then amend "Comments" or add Tags.

Re: Evernote Plugin?
As you are working on an enhancement, would it be possible to make it so that if you didn't have say a birth or a census that it then wouldn't leave a line gap in the text where the birth or census would be? Not a big issue if you can't. I had put in extra census lines but it looked a bit messy when...

Re: Evernote Plugin?
Yes that works for me. Thanks very much. The <br /> that I disposed of was in line 60 or 61. But I notice that it is in the new plugins but does not now show up in the Comment box? To add the "Results" heading was more than just adding to the HTML template wasn't it? I had tried that but it didn't w...

Re: Evernote Plugin?
I like the new one. That's close to what I was thinking off, Thanks.
A small problem though, I cannot get Evernote to synchronise between PC and iPad or Android phone. It will still sync though if I use the old plugin.

Re: Evernote Plugin?
Yes I have made a few alteration in the HTML section. I even found how to remove that <br /> that was annoying me. I haven't sussed how to add another subject title to go below "Comments" where in EverNote i could add my research results.

Re: Evernote Plugin?
Hi Jane, Well the plugin appears to work ok for me at least. A few more questions now I have had a play with it, please. Where do I go to to remove the erroneous <br /> in the Comment section? Is it possible to direct the input to EverNote into a particular Notebook? I am thinking of using Tags for ...

Re: Evernote Plugin?
Ooops they were both silly questions
I jumped to the conclusion that the plugin was using the ToDo Query, but just realised after reading though again that it is just using the highlighted name to transfer.
How does the plugin select which info to transfer?

Re: Evernote Plugin?
Hi Jane, Are you still working on the Evernote plugin? The reason I ask is that from your earlier post "Call to iPad users" it has prompted me to have a go with Evernote. I have downloaded the plugin from your post above and I can get one ToDo to go into Evernote. Is that correct or should it transf...

Re: Call to iPad Users
Here is the link to the FAQ etc of the MS Onenote app. http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/onenote-help/welcome-to-onenote-mobile-1-3-HA102743695.aspx You will need yo experience it for yourself but you will see that the app only allows you to make 500 notes before you have to pay for an upgrade. Re: Call to iPad Users
Did your computer switch to 'standby' (or whatever) when you were not accessing it or was it running continuously? As I was out visiting yesterday I took my iPad with me and left my PC on at home. With TeamViewer I attempted a connection but it couldn't as the PC was asleep. Luckily my wife was sti...

Re: Call to iPad Users
To Makfai, No I haven't tried Outline. I went to look for it after your earlier post, but after finding the OneNote option decided to investigate that option before considering purchasing Outline. To Tatewise, After reading Jane's post / Knowledge Base I did try Teamviewer at home via wifi and was a...

Re: Call to iPad Users
I use GedFamilies on my iPad. I have used it for updating but generally I prefer to take notes and update FH later. Even if I have access to FH I still prefer to take a notes for updating later. I was interested in Makfai's comments regarding OneNote as that was what I used when I had a Windows Netb...

Change of Date Format
Tatewise
until your first reply I had not changed anything. I had all the examples as in Peter's post plus the one I put in my first post:-
b.1859, d.1927
I then followed your instructions and inserted the ,STD into the brackets. After that all instances of the above example had disappeared.

Yes Peter mine is now the same as yours displaying all the scenarios as you show.
Unfortunately I now don't have any evidence of the one I described in my first post with b and d.

Yep, mine didn't have ,STD in the brackets.
It has changed nearly all of them except a few remaining b's where a bur date has been used because of no death date.
Cheers

Change of Date Format
In my Records Window I have noticed in the Dates Column a different format has recently (last 3/4 weeks) appeared.
Instead of:-
1859-1927
I now get:-
b.1859, d.1927
Is this something I have changed unwittingly?

Adding Multiple People to a Diagram
Something else you can do which is probably nearer what you were trying to do by another way, I know it works as I use it for the same reason. Open a diagram, say an 'All relatives' then under Menu 'Diagram' select 'Insert into diagram' select say 'All relatives' again and from there select the pers...

To not have blank or ';unknown'; boxes in diagrams
Then why is the blank box not shown in all instances? All that I am asking for, is the option not to have blank boxes in diagrams. It works in two of the three scenarios Tatewise has created above. Why not the third? Probably nothing more than a minor oversight in the software. If you want, need a b...

You are having almost identical problem to what I had a few weeks ago. I contacted Technical support, who said I was the only one that had contacted them so they didn't think it was a major issue. I found that with another program running, didn't matter which, even the task manager was enough. As so...

To not have blank or ';unknown'; boxes in diagrams
I agree my title is awful. My only excuse is that on my first attempt it was too long and I did not notice until after publishing. I then very hurriedly had to make an edit. However I am not sure 'Omit' is correct as, in my opinion, the box should not have been there in the first place. As indicated...
