How/Where to include mobile phone, email address
If you have MSOutlook Contacts and already maintain details there in any case, then another possibility would be to export each chosen individual's details from Outlook to a vCard file stored in a chosen folder associated with your geneanology stuff and then create a Individual's link to each of tho...

I looked long and hard and was also sort of on the 'car.....something' line - first line looks like Tramway Co. and whatever the other bit is, it presumably has to be also applicable to a Lime Works and to a General tag? Is the feint long sloping slash relevant to the actual lettering - it seems to ...

From Notes to Record Linked to ...
If you select the note record in the Notes Record window and then go to View>Record Links... from the menu bar you'll get a dialog window listing all the records linked to that note (and how many times).
The same process works with other record types as well (eg Sources, Multimedia etc)

I hadn't been aware of Genelines, and when I went searching for timeline software, found Timeline Maker and have had their free demo Pro version for a while. It is a very ne...

Please bear with a beginner
The thing to remember is that both FH and GC are 'sharing' the same gedcom data file. So, if you are working in FH, do a file save before first opening Gedcom Census, so that GC has the latest information in the Geccom file to work with. Then when you are finished with work in GC and switch back to ...

Old Occupation: ';Operations Chemist';
Hi there, just a thought, but perhaps Operations Chemist would imply an Industrial Process Chemist (or Production chemist) of some sort (as oppoosed to Dispensing chemist or Pharmacist). First page of 'Google' returns also threw up several job vacancies which suggested this might be the case too. Br...

how to find
If it is a Scottish certificate, then the word is most likely precognition and, I think, implies a cause which is was subjuect to further enquiry such as a coroners inquest and report or following autopsy. The established cause of death is published in the volume of the Register of Corrected Entries...
