Even though a line of spaces will not auto-adjust to fill across a box, I have found that a left-aligned line of dashes (about 50 in my case) adequately separates the different categories of information.

Ability to Copy a User-Defined List settings
It would be useful to be able to copy a List so a column format could be re-used rather than having to re-build it (ie for different surnames etc).

Record IDs on Data Reference lists
It would be useful to have the Record ID as a 'clickable' item on the Data Reference Assistant (when you click on 'Insert Data Reference') rather than having to remember the precise case-sensitive syntax required when using this in lists or query columns. This would apply to both individual and fami...

Family ID Numbers
I have just checked again and although Generations gives a Family ID on screen, it only seems to export it as a 'FAMS' Gedcom value if there is a spouse. As a test I added a spouse, and then that family ID was exported and thus can be imported into FH. What I can't seem to understand is why Generati...

Family ID Numbers
In Generations I had already started to copy the Family ID to the Custom ID as I could print the Custom ID in Family Group sheets (I could not print the Family ID). I will be going away from Generations as I get better with FH but can you explain how / when FH 'issues' a Family ID number. If there i...

Family ID Numbers
I seem to be having a problem with Family ID numbers. When I bought FH, I imported all my data from Generations and everything seemd OK. It was when (in FH) I added a spouse to someone that I noticed that the Family ID number in Generations was different to that in FH and in FH it seemed to be the n...

Diagrams - saving as .jpg, .gif, .png etc.
I cannot find the 'Copy As' facility which allows different diagram format (ie .jpg etc).
Under the 'Diagram' drop-down menu there is a 'Copy Diagram' option but that only allows you to save it in 'Enhanced Metafile' or 'Bitmap' format.
I checked and I am using FH version 2.2.4

Bad images when inserting pictures
After playing around for quite a while with my own computer and it's settings (after I had posted this query), I have tracked the cause of the problem. My display was set for '256 colours' and this worked fine in normal circumstances. However, by changing to '32-bit (true colour)' within 'Control Pa...

Bad images when inserting pictures
I have just downloaded the demo version of FH and whenever I try to insert a picture, the picture has strange coulours. I have tried jpeg (from a camera) and bmp images (from a scanner and Photoshop LE) but all the same result. In the preview panel, the images are also the strange colours.
