Thank you for your help. The problem is now SOLVED. I don't think PDF printer was there under v4 as I never used it and I don't remember it as an alternative printer. When pdf didn't work under v5 I did a reinstall of v5 upgrade over the previous v5 and that didn't help. I've now tried your advice t...

File Print does not show Family Historian PDF in the drop down list, only my two HP printers.
There is no Family Historian PDF amongst the printers. There's no PDF printer at all.
