Re: Citations Column Missing in Records Window
I believe in a recent version of FH this was changed from "Citations" to "Links".

Re: Project Window - simple alteration
Item 1 in the instructions at the web site did enable the recent file list when I right click. Still nothing if I hover over the icon. When I hover over the icon I get a thumbnail of the program window if the program is open and just the name of the program if the program is closed.
Thanks,
Bill

Odd. For me it doesn't appear if I right click either.

I don't get the list of recent and pinned projects when I hover over the icon in the taskbar in Windows 10 either.

Mike,
I think that date just means when Win 10 was installed. My computer shows:
I just installed 22H2 a couple months ago, but I installed Win 10 back in 2020.

Re: Preserve and Hide/Show Columns
One issue with hiding the Source Rec column may be that this dictates the split between the field name and the data when the source/citation is expanded - but that doesn't work well now (never mind if the column could be hidden). In my case this wouldn't be an issue. I never expand the source in th...

Re: Preserve and Hide/Show Columns
I could add some requests to the Wish List Ref 534 Preserve all Workspace and Window Characteristics to allow column widths to be reduced to zero, including the rightmost column, and that should help solve such issues. Mike, That would be a good addition although I'm not all that hopeful that it wo...

Re: Preserve and Hide/Show Columns
The hide Source Rec column in the Sources For Citation List pane is not strictly needed as the column can be adjusted to zero width which effectively hides it if that setting were preserved. Mike, There are several problems with this. You can pull the left hand side of the Source Rec column to the ...

Re: Preserve and Hide/Show Columns
I can feel this morphing into three wishes: one for a 'Sources Icon'; one for the ability to remember column widths; and one for the ability to hide the More column (and maybe other columns?) The first one does seem quite different. The latter two might be combined into a single wish list since the...

Preserve and Hide/Show Columns
This is a spin-off from the 21446|Property box icons posting. I think this should also apply to the Citation section of the Sources For pane. I really wish I could hide the Source Rec column or drag it off the right hand side or resize it so it is very narrow. As it is I have the Sources For pane on...

Re: Property box icons
I am with Helen on this one. For me it is also just so much clutter. I'd love to be able to hide the column entirely making more room for the Fact column.

Bill, i was envisaging the Creating Plugins would be the place to access and then discuss unpublished plugins except for the one-offs which tbh only Mike develops. Can you suggest a more descriptive, short name? Helen, Actually, I have some unpublished plugins written by Mike Tate, Mark Draper, Phi...

Re: Making the Plugins Discussion Forum more useful
Bill, you would discuss an unpublished plugin in whatever forum you found the plugin, which as Helen said could be any forum, but you must have found it somewhere before being able to discuss it. Mike, Some of the unpublished plugins I use were first discussed in the Plugin Discussions forum. I tho...

Re: Making the Plugins Discussion Forum more useful
I think the name Creating Plugins (or as Mike suggested Development of Plugins) sounds like a place to develop a new plugin before it is published or to discuss topics regarding how to create a plugin. If I were wanting to ask a question about or report a problem with an existing unpublished plugin,...

Re: Re-map... to relocate media?
I can't help you with the problem you are experiencing, but I will just mention that you don't have to have a flat structure in the media folder. You can have whatever hierarchical structure that you want. You can have exactly the same structure in the media folder as you have currently if that is w...

The new "Rich Text font detection" plugin is not listed as "recently updated" plugin as of now. This may jut be an issue that it has not updated yet, but I thought it was worth mentioning it. Re: FH7 - Text from Source - how to MODIFY table after initial save
Are you clicking in a table cell first before you try using the cog wheel or right clicking? I believe you have to click in a cell first before the Modify Table option becomes active.
