I have been moving things around on my computer (to tidy up a bit !) but have now lost the links to the pictures and other images in my tree.Is there a way I can get FH to find the new links.I am sure I saw how to to it somewhere.

Name
Birth (date & place)
Baptism (date & place)
Marriage (date & place)
Death (date & place)
Burial (date & place)
Occupation (main)

In my haste to add people to my tree I have often (very often!!)omitted to put in the source of my information.I now find I have many records with no sources.Is there a report or something that I can use to identify these records without going through the whole 1700 names individually.Alternatively ...

I would like to have the ability to put a note on a Submitter Record.For example so I could show how or where I had made contact with this person or what part of the family they are interested in etc.Just a name and address is not quite enough.[wink][wink][wink]

I also save my tree on a USB storage device but I also like to have a physical record for quick look-ups etc.The problem with keeping everything on a storage device is that you always need a computer to access it and this is not always easy when you have 2 teenagers competing with you for the use of...

I don't know quite how I managed it but I found the custom reports and have now downloaded them!

Maybe I am just dim but even after doing that I still cannot find any custom reports only the standard ones.I have tried all sorts of searches as well but still no joy![frown]

Sorry I still can't find them.I saved the templates as custom reports in FH and can access them from there but I have searched high and low on my computer and only found the list of reports that come with FH.[cry]

I also had this problem.I downloaded a program called Fresh Download from http://www.freshdevices.com and then downloaded the FH upgrade directly from the Family Historian website with no problems.[smile]

I have now tried to download FH upgrade 8 times this evening every time it it finishes at a different place.

Have just successfully downloaded and installed Quick Census Entry but have tried twice this evening to download the FH upgrade with no luck.First time it reached 675KB and the second time 2.97MB.Have done what you suggested Jane but I will keep on trying.I am still open to suggestions on what to do...

How do I stop my PC from timing out?

You may already know this but you can search the full GRO indexes online at http://www.1837online.com .You do have to pay (not too expensive especially since the method of searching has been improved) but you do not have to go to London or take the day off work!I use this quite a bit to find people ...
