Text formatting in Notes windows
Hi Nick, thank you for your reply. I shall indeed be using Gedcom Census to enter the data in future! The only downside is that I've an awful lot of census data in FH already and will have to re-enter it all so that the old data matches the new (in format). Which is the Wish List entry for this ...

Text formatting in Notes windows
Ive searched the Wish List and done a general search and I cant find this topic mentioned anywhere
I have a lot of problems with the formatting in the Notes window. I like to enter the information from a census entry in the Notes for the event in a tabulated format. If I get the correct alignme...

Diagram - ';Save as default'; box
Would it be possible on the 'Diagram Options' main page to have the 'Save as Default' box at the bottom unchecked by default? I have so often been caught out by playing around with the layout of a diagram only to find that whatever I've done has been saved as the default for all diagrams. I can only...

Re-instate the diagram ';override text'; f
I second this request! I've just spent ages trying to find out how to override text in V3 - obviously it can no longer be done.

Box shapes in diagrams
Although I don't understand why I couldn't change the boxes using the method I did, I have now found a way to get rectangles with no shadow: choose Diagram Options then on the Boxes tab click on Presets and then choose Classic.
I should have looked a little harder before posting!

Box shapes in diagrams
The default shape for the boxes on the diagrams seems to be with rounded corners and with a shadow. I tried to make them rectangles with no shadow but it only works for the males! The females remain unchanged. I've tried it several times (with a male then a female as the root person), closed FH and ...

Can't load Saved as pictures from Paint Shop Pro
I have just tried to insert a TIF image and got the message 'Unable to load image'. I didn't use LZW compression on any of my images. The problem seems to be that most of my TIF images have comments attached. I can only insert an image if it doesn't have a comment. Does anyone know if this is how FH...

Thoughts on 2.3
Having only had a quick look at it, I think it's an excellent upgrade - for free too! I especially like the narrative sentences - even though some of my custom event labels look a bit stupid in the sentence. I gather I can use a text editor to change the labels though. It is also very useful to b...

Whats New in 2.3
The new narrative sentences are brilliant! However, some of the labels I have given custom events sound pretty stupid when used in them, even after changing the format! Is it possible to rename custom events?
