Apologies. Please ignore my previous message. The thumbnail is appearing in the Image Viewer screen, it's just a bit slow to appear.

I am adding 1921 census entries using AS 7.6.6. The thumbnail image is not appearing in the top lefthand corner of the image viewer and it is very pale on the main screen as a linked image.

I have added several US 1950 entries this morning, after updating to 7.4.3, and all the thumbnails have appeared.
Thank you.

I've just added entries for the US Census 1930, 1940 and 1950. The thumbnails appeared for 1930 and 1940 but not 1950.

I have now slected about a dozen census entries at random over all years in the image viewer and none of them have a thumbnail in the top left.

Yes I've updated to the latest version but I think it's done it ever since I started using the US 1950 census was that 7.2?
It's in the box where it there is a link to add images and the thumbnail always used to appear on the left hand side of it after adding.

I have noticed, especially with the US 1950 census, that the thumbnail of the image does not always appear in the linked images after linking. (I used to check that it was there in FH after saving but it always was so I've stopped checking now.)
Is it just me or have others seen the same?

Thanks. I guess remarrying could well be described as an exception.

Re: Duplicate spouses
Mike I have an instance of the same couple remarrying (I assume after first divorcing as one of them married somebody else in the interim). Does the Show Project Statistics plugin check the date of the marriages in cases where the error report explanation 'Spouse is duplicated' occurs? If not should...

Re: Another Marriage Status Query
Thanks to all.
I searched the Knowledge Base but not the FH Help. My brain is getting addled with lack of activity!
The name is spelt differently on both certificates so perhaps it was fictitious. I'll do some more digging.

Another Marriage Status Query
I have a first cousin, a few times removed, who was illegitimate and no father is named on the GRO Birth Online Index. However, she married twice and on both certificates a father is named. I am not sure what status to give to her parents. I assume it's Never Married or Unmarried Couple but if there...

Thank you. The Where Used Record Links solved it for me. The problem was actually in the marriage source records.

Source Citations
On the Sources tab I have 4051 citations linked to a source record (GRO Birth).
When I run the Custom Query More Facts linked to a Source (V4 onwards) for the same source record there is a total of 4050 records in the result set.
How do I find the extra record?

Re: Export Gedcom File for Tribal Pages

Personally I am not too bothered about the address limitations but your workaround seems fine. BTW my subscription has lapsed but I do have contact with somebody who has a ...

My understanding is the same as yours. I have not uploaded anything since December 2011.
Would you like to look at my tree on Tribal Pages? I will need to send you the access code privately.

I have used Tribal Pages in the past but not for some time because of its limitations.
I would be happy to help in testing the Plugin

What's New in 6.1.2 states (inter alia) "In unusual circumstances, Record Window options in Preferences could apparently revert to installation defaults, following an upgrade. That has now been fixed." Well it has not been fixed. In fact, it worked fine for me up to 6.1.1 but in 6.1.2 it has reverte...

Re: Automatic Linking of Facts to Sources
Mike I can think of several examples of facts with incorrect sources from blatant ones such as using my GRO Birth source for a death fact to far more subtle ones, which I accept may not be incorrect for some people, such as using the GRO Birth source as source for a name. I have approached the whole...

Thank you very much. That has worked. One source was linked to the name and the other to a whole record.
I am sure others must have the same problem, although they may not be aware of it. Would it be worth adding something to the KB?
I obviously did not look at the KB Index closely enough!

Re: Automatic Linking of Facts to Sources
Mike Thank you. I had not found it in the KnowledgeBase index because I had looked for Fact Query and not Query:Fact. Automatic Linking of Facts to Sources
It would be very useful for me if FH automatically linked certain facts, particularly birth, marriage and death, to a specified source. I would use this in all cases where I do not have a copy of the certificate as I always use single sources for events that I have found on the GRO. I do accept that...
