V4 Officially Here
I think the RRP for V4 boxed is £39.99, My History are therefore selling below RRP, Calico sell the Download version slightly cheaper than RRP, but more than the My History price which obviously is My History's option to sell at what ever price they like.

V3-V4 Upgrade
I would recommend un-installing the trial. One of the reasons the Family-historian site suggests not installing the trail on a V3 system is due to the key issue, when you get to the key prompt pressing No should take you to the trial version. I would recommend contacting Calico's support desk if you...

The problem was purely in the installer rather than the program so if you have to program installed then there is no need to re-install.

Version 4: it's going to be April
V4 is in manufacturing, which means the CDs are being made and the boxes printed, so baring some disaster, the boxes should be shipping from the end of April.

Version 4: it's going to be April
Simon Orde on the FHU List: I do apologise for the delay. There is no single reason for this. Version 4 is a big release and there are numerous late-stage tasks to be done before we can release it, and we underestimated how long these would take. As I'm sure you appreciate, we have every motivation ...

A couple of new features have been added to the wish list. 1. Search by Reference number is now possible. 2. You can now select from the 'Where' option to find any items you have rated, so for example you can review any items you rated 0 as not interested. 3. I have also changed the look slightly an...

News of Family Historian version 4
Colin, remember you don't need to buy the upgrade to V4, unless you want to or need specific functions from the new version. My guess the upgrade will be around the £25 mark, but it's not been announced yet. With regard to sites, I would suggest posting a question to the forums, rather than here on ...
