You own computer should be fine, I am not sure if the venue will have available power sockets for extra machines so make sure your batteries are charged.

It was not in the plan to provide booklet type documentation, to my knowledge.

You can purchase the upgrade, how ever some people have preferred to purchase the full version to simplify re-installing should the need arrives, but it is possible to install V2 and upgrade to V3 and then upgrade to V4
