Anne said: I immediately went to Undo and selected that. To Undo everything you must repeatedly use Edit > Undo until there are no more options left, and then Save . It is just like Undo in Word or Excel where you step back one change at a time. Anne said: I went to File, Backup/Restore , then Full ...

Use more recent LYTEBOX version for CD/Web create

According to the Ltyebox Forums Topic the following code will switch autoResize off: <a href='image.jpg' class='lytebox' data-lyte-options='autoResize:false'>Link</a> So it should be easy to select this mode, even on a per image basis. Another feature missing from Lytebox is the ability to zoom in &...

Yes, but it should also request that the script option this.__autoResize = true; be able to be selected in the Publishing Wizard.

Image pop-up on CD ignores max size option

Gordon, that is a good bit of detective work. The Close button problem is because lytebox.css expects all such images to be in an images sub-folder. Either copy the images folder from lytebox_v5.5.zip download into the data folder, or edit lytebox.css and replace every images/ with nothing. I found ...

Image pop-up on CD ignores max size option

Sorry, you are quite right the No Maximum Size option does not appear to work, is not saved, and the setting reverts to Default (1000 x 800 pixels) . That must be a bug. [frown] I have also experimented along similar lines, including the lytebox.js script autoResize = true; option, with similar disa...

Anne, The backups I am referring to are those features provided within FH itself, not those on the Mac, which would still be a good idea. Within FH see File > Backup/Restore > Backup Options > Help , review the options and follow the link to Backups for more explanation. If the Backup on Exit option...

Gordon says: No matter what I do FH ignores the picture option size I choose. It is not that FH is ignoring your choice, but that the pop-up window script is limiting the size to a percentage of the available browser window size. So beyond a certain point your settings have no further enlarging affe...

Ancestral Sources v3.2.3

You are probably working on this as I speak, but the Ancestral Sources website also needs updating.
Then presumably the AS Help > Check for Updates will perform the update.
At present it says I already have the latest installed.  (I have V3.2.1 installed).

If the 'false' marriages were the last data entered and removed you may be able to recover from your backups. Do you have a backup of the GEDCOM from before the Marriages were entered? To be on the safe side first use File > Backup/Restore > Full Backup to preserve your current database. Then use Fi...

See also my reply to your Burials & Graves posting. There are no Standard GEDCOM Facts that are suitable, unless you cite all the Source details against the Death event. Misc must be a Custom Fact that you have imported or defined, so it is a personal choice as to what Custom Fact you choose to use....

Burials & Graves

A significant difference is that the Burial Fact is a Standard GEDCOM Event , whereas the Grave Location Fact is a Custom 'Death_or_Burial1' Attribute . Thus, if you export your data, the Burial Event should be supported by any GEDCOM compliant software, whereas the Grave Location Attribute may not ...

FHUG Toolbar Add-on

Un-installing the old toolbar and re-installing the latest toolbar changed its version from 3.15.1.0 to 10.13.1.89 and changed its presentation as well as its News cache. It seems to have fixed the Delete All Items problem. Unfortunately, it has fixed the Delete Message item problem by removing the ...

Ah, yes, that is NOT a Conduit site search, but an absolutely standard Bing search. You can put any search terms into that Bing search, just like a Google search. It is exactly the same as searching at www.bing.com or www.google.co.uk . You do not have to go through the Conduit web pages to do the B...

Yes, because arg is a table listing the ... arguments, then #arg is the number of button names in the table.
Thus #arg / 2 is half the number of button names.

intArgNum is a counter for the button name arguments, running from 1 consecutively upwards. An alternative to passing in arguments is to provide the button names explicitly in the function and use two horizontal boxes. local intArgNum = 0 local iupBox1 = iup.hbox{homogeneous='YES'} for intNum, strB...

If you want the latest 'approved' update, then use the link on the FHUG Home page near top right for V3.1 choosing 32/64-bit as you currently use.

If you want the latest 'beta' update V3.2.2 then use the links in the Ancestral Sources v3.2.2 topic in this Forum.

Two death facts show up in Focus Window

The only way I can get that effect is to enter the word Death into the Note box under the Name box on the Main tab of the Property Box.

I also use version 5.0.7 on Windows 7 64 bit.

I think what John Phillips is asking for is Wish List 160 - Ability to Split a Tree based on the current contents of a Diagram . Numbering records produced by a query

The requirement is actually trickier than it sounds. The 1st , 2nd , etc designation depends on the order of the Custom Id value. This designation must remain correct even if the Column sort order is changed by clicking on a Column heading. So I suspect it is not something that will get implemented.

Numbering records produced by a query

I cannot think of any technique to achieve that ordinal numbering in any version of FH, short of writing a V5 Plugin to compose the Result Set . You could use Save Results to File and open the CSV file in a spreadsheet such as MS Excel or OpenOffice Calc . In the spreadsheet enter the digits 1 and 2...
