Re: Reports from a named list
Going back to the very first post, why not simply print the query results from the Query window by pressing the print key?

Re: Born and Died in Main tab.
I believe the problem may be that the labels of US language in TMG have been changed, Try changing them to Birth and Death. Your language file for Norwegian can stay as it is.

Re: Ability to Change Type of Fact
I suspect they are to do with when FH needs to upgrade existing fact sets when upgrading from an earlier version, to decide if the user has customised the facts or not.

It is simpler, just to press the show Face button to get the description, rather than the age.

Re: RTF formatting
One option might be able to save as HTML and load that into word. From memory that uses divisions which might be easier to adjust.

Re: RTF formatting
Basic RTF does not provide much in the way of control for images, so I suspect that is why the layout is done with tables. You could always write a short VBA script to strip the tables you do not want. There are some suggestions here for the scripts https://www.tek-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=1365534

Re: Sentence to print all members of a census household in narrative reports
Don't forget you can always override any specific witness sentence so you can manually adjust any sentence should you want to say for example.
He was a servant in the household of James Smith, his future father in law.

It might be worth creating a small gedcom file with a couple records which exhibit the symptom so the characters being used can be checked.

and you will not get the prompt.

Re: Ability to Change Type of Fact
A couple of "got ya's" to watch out for if some one is having a go at this, would be Facts with Witnesses as the roles might not exist on the copied to fact and you might want to skip copying any sentence over-rides.

When you backup the folder used is shown on the first settings page. I think it defaults to the same folder you use for Project backups.

Re: Backup and Restore Family Historian Settings
Try downloading and running the Delete old FH6 Plugin Module Files plugin from the Plugin Store and see if that helps.
The error message refers to the md5 library module that needed to be downloaded for FH V6.2 but is preinstalled in FH v7.0.

What I currently do is to use the save as jpg option on the Map menu and then attach the map into reports and books using the picture option, or attach it as a fact media entry.

I am obviously missing something. You can open the log file from "Window>Log Files" on my PC this opens in my Text editor and I can then close the log file selection window and work on FH with the log open.

That dll is designed to be installed with each application. So you will get one for each program which uses WebView. I believe it's a "hook" to attach to the web view install and not the install it's self. Which is why it lives with the app. Personally I would not bother backing up the Web folder as...

Re: FH 7.0.7 and Web 2 installer
The screens provided by FH are very clear during the install, I only put the warning as many users will not actually read the messages, but just press the next buttons and take the defaults.
If you don't think the warning is needed I can take it down.
