Re: Print All Data
One possibility is to leave your research data to an appropriate Family History society, if no one is interested in your Family group. I have been working on my plan to produce some more stories of individuals in my tree along with historical context, I find people are happy to read a story rather t...

Re: Exception Report on opening file
It sounds as if you managed somehow to get two sex fields. I gave it ago, but could not quickly reproduce the problem. FH sounds to have fixed the file, so unless you or someone else can workout how to reproduce it I would not worry too much.

Re: FH Version 7.0.8.2 and FMP Hints
BTW If you have errors in a web browser window or web browser the problem is not likely to be be Family Historian, but with the web site you are visiting. So in general you need to copy the web site support and not Family Historian support.

Another option is to use the save as>wmf file and insert that into word. You may also find it useful, to go to diagram>options and select the Minimalist Preset for the box types.

Re: Issue with fhSQL not retrieving RM/SQLite BLOB values correctly
I spent a few hours on this today, but the root problem is the SQLite ODBC driver used for ADO looks to limit fields to 255. See https://stackoverflow.com/questions/15244270/storing-and-retrieving-large-strings-in-sqlite-with-ado-and-vbscript FH, as opposed to lua uses the SQLite dll directly so doe...

Re: Issue with fhSQL not retrieving RM/SQLite BLOB values correctly
Have you checked the MS ADODB documentation, it may be a different function is needed for blob fields. It does not state that you need to use something other than value, but it could be worth trying GetChunk in your version of rows for the blob fields. See https://www.w3schools.com/asp/ado_ref_field...

Re: Issue with fhSQL not retrieving RM/SQLite BLOB values correctly
fhSQL is a simple wrapper for Luacom and the Microsoft SQL driver. Remember pure lua does not handle UTF8 strings, so that may be the problem, another possible is that the blobs need special handling looking at the example here https://dev.mysql.com/doc/connector-net/en/connector-net-programming-blo...

To clean out the facts this plug would get rid of everything other than BMD, and could easily be changed to remove them as well.

Yes.
The best way to work with a single image and multiple people is to use the Media Window.

The standard Family Historian Export, can export excluding place, media, source and repository records. Obviously when you open the exported file in FH the place records will be recreated.

Re: Unable to re-order facts via property box up/down arrows
On the fact tab you can not move dated events out of sequence. So you can either have the occupation before or after the census for the same date so in your example the 1851 Occupation can not be moved after the 1861 Census so the down arrow is disabled.

The customisations you mention are stored at PC level so will be used in the Project.
Normally when you first open a Gedcom file in FH7, a pop up window appears explaining about using Projects and recommending that you create one.

You also can not use the snapshot options to recover an earlier version in a crisis.
I would always recommend using a Project, your core data is still in gedcom format so there is no real reason to not use a Project set up.

BTW The original plugin does work, as nill is not set and therefore == matches as nil. So although it is incorrect it does work and will not cause any problems.

Re: Using a named list to add a fact to each indi in the list
Try adding iup.SetGlobal("CUSTOMQUITMESSAGE","YES"); After the iuplua require This is needed when you use iuplua in FH7 and you can get all sorts of unexpected results if it's not there. If that does not fix it, then what I normally do is to use print() to write to the output on the editor, or appen...

Re: Calling a plugin from a plugin (again...)
The other major problems with modules is keeping them up to date on other users PCs. Even if they can be downloaded they would potentially cause problems if the modules are updated and break plugins which are expecting the older versions, or vice versa. The problems caused by LoadRequire is a case i...
