I've just made a gedcom from my Legacy file and imported it into a new FH project. All marriage source citations are there, so I must have done something wrong the first time I imported my Legacy file into FH. Now I have to do some reading about merging files so I can add the marriage source citatio...

I didn't realize that the note shown in the main tab in the property box is also shown in the notes tab. I have deleted notes in the main tab, so in the notes tab the empty note remains. After closing FH those empty notes are deleted as you said. So the problem is solved.
