Re: Creating Australian Templates
Lyn, I should have also mentioned, you will have to add Australia to the list. Just click on the arrow next to region, then select add new.

Re: Creating Australian Templates
Hi Lyn
I use the Essentials collection templates. I clone a copy of the templates, rename it and adjust if required . I use the Census Return template and the Directory/List template for Electoral Rolls, passenger lists etc.

Transcripts are available on FreeReg. I just did a search and a Richard Henshaw is listed in 1700 in Spalding St Mary and St Nicholas.

Re: Problem with Census plugin
Thanks Colin. I knew there would be some limitations when I purchased the Mac M1, hopefully things will improve over time. I have RM8 as a backup, but definitely prefer FH.

Re: Problem with Census plugin
Helen I just had a look at the Manage AutoText option, however I am unable to do anything. FH either freezes or just shuts down. It may be a Crossover problem. As for AS, I had trouble installing this as well, with error messages. There was another person on this forum who was also on a Mac and havi...

Helen
That sounds a bit beyond my capabilities. I think I may leave it for the time being, and just make notes if I can. Maybe when another update is done in FH/Crossover, it may help. Thank you for you help and advice.

Re: Problem with Census plugin
Thank you both for replying. I will try the autotext template and see if that makes a difference. I did read about that, but didn’t know how to adjust it.

Problem with Census plugin
I am using Crossover on a M1 Mac, and FH V7 When creating a new census source from template using the Data Entry Assistant, the information is not transferring across to the Text from Source field, and the program freezes. The same thing happens if I attach a source to a fact, and try to add the inf...

Re: FH v7.09 and Crossover v21.1 & reports
Sorry if this is not the correct place to report this, just wanted to say I am also having the same problem as Colin. I am only using the trial version of Crossover and was thinking of purchasing. However, the reports do not work at all. The charts will display without problem. I also tried the repo...

Re: Import of RM7 Citations
It starts out ok, then says not responding. There is a progress bar, I get a thin green bar but it doesn’t progress. Then I get an error saying not responding. I think it may be my database. I have just restored an earlier backup, prior to the adjustments I made. Exported a sample file and it worked...

Re: Import of RM7 Citations
Sorry Mark, I have held of responding due to some problems I am having. I imported a small section of my tree to test the latest plugin and everything worked However, when I imported my full file, the plugin freezes. Re: FH7 : Using Evidence Explained Style
I am not sure if this is the correct place to ask this, so apologies if it's not. I am using the Church Register Essentials collection, and noticed some of the fields are not transferring across . For instance if using an online collection, the database name and url plus some other fields are not sh...

Re: Import of RM7 Citations
Thanks Mark. Yes I had previously reviewed vs 6, but found it a bit daunting. I decided to give vs 7 another look, and really liked what I saw. I am slowly learning the different features, and am really looking forward to using this software.
