It happens, but there is a simple solution. With map open on Northowram, just drag the name in left hand column, ( however you’ve entered it) and drop it on the map on the corrcet place. I had a bit of confusion with a map location in FH7. One of my ancestors was living in Northowram, Halifax, West Yorkshire, England in the 1891 census. However opening the map window, the marker was placed in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I tried a number of variations to try to locate the marker correctly....
