Also, it made me double check all my previous Census records, added over a period of time and found one or two entry errors that I have now put right. I would also be very intere...

Re: How to change .rtf narrative back into Book format?

I have just started to try to republish my original Free Text Narrative Report & save settings as a Custom Report Type.

- what type of 'Word' Custom Report does FH Book use / support that I need to select?
- then how do I 'import' the Custom Report back into FH Book?

How to change .rtf narrative back into Book format?

Recently I saved a Book narrative chapter as .rtf word processing to add images.

I now can't find the original narrative chapter in the original Book I created which is blank.

How can I re save the .rtf version back into the original Book text format?

Re: How to start new project

Welcome to FHUG and I hope you enjoy exploring /recording your New England records in 18th Century. Interesting question you have posed. My first question might be -'do you know if you have any current direct ancestors linking to any of the interred names' you have so far? If so this 'might' be your...

Re: Change to Ancestry Terms of Service

Thank you for letting us know this important very big change to Ancestry Terms and Conditions as from 3rd August 2021, with very little warning. This is a poor unethical decision in light of copyright of personal family history records
