Re: Birth certificate not found at GRO England
Thanks to everyone - it's a lovely feeling when you smash through the brick wall that you've had for years. Apparently my great grandmother was born as Frances Elizabeth Louise Brown and it all ties in with the census returns up to her marriage. Thanks again.

Re: Birth certificate not found at GRO England
Sorry everyone that I put in the wrong date on the 1st post. I was going to post the jpg of the Freebmd record with it which would have shown everyone the problem but wasn't sure whether I was allowed to do that. Thanks everyone and Tim for submitting an error correction. Hopefully GRO will be able ...

Birth certificate not found at GRO England
I wonder if anyone can help me, I'm looking at getting a birth certificate for my great grandmother from the GRO in London, United Kingdom. However when I go to order it, the site says not found. I've got the details as in year 1877, Q2, Volume 1c * page 570 and her name is Elizabeth Louise Brown. I...

New version 7.0.6
I'd been having my FH7.0.5 not responding for a few days so I decided to reinstall it again. Now it's 7.0.6 and now Internet Explorer has gone and Edge has taken its place for the internal web browser window. Thumbs up.

Re: File History Backup
Just for info, I've been using SecondCopy version 7 to do all my backups for almost 10 years and just recently it has been showing errors with too long file names with Family Historian. Hence why I've seen this post. I've upgraded to version 9 now and it handles the long file names with no problems....

Starting off where I finished the last time
Hi All,
Is there anyway of opening FH6 where I was before I closed it down? At the mo, it always goes back to my focus record and I've got to try and think of where I was. - my memory isn't the best.
Many thanks
YorkieF
