Hi David, Wish I'd known about this site. However, try https://maps.nls.uk/ the National Library of Scotland site. A quick look just now showed results for London so it's not restricted to Scotland although the list of historic town plans is heavily biassed towards north of the border. Hope this hel...

Could a 'nurse child' be an infant for whom someone in the household is a wet nurse? Not all members of the household are shown, so I can't see if there is anyone of appropriate age to be a wet nurse.

I think I've cracked it - I have to create the nameindex first then move on to family pages and descendants by generation. That seems to give consistent results.
