I sent the details of the FH version changes to Charting Companion last night and tested the new version today.

You are correct the older working gedcom file I checked did come from an Export Gedcom File . I went to a proper backup and checked again and sure enough nothing has changed. All APIs were disabled for me.

The only issue I had when following the instructions was I hadn't realized I had to enable two APIs. When I saw in the instructions that I could lock down the key to the two APIs a light bulb went off and I enabled the Maps JavaScript API too. Thanks Mike that got me going. I don't set a lot of settings so I just deleted the .dat file.
I did have another error on the first export attempt but a restart of FH seems to have resolved it.

I've been testing ALL~ABS and ALL~LMO and looks good. _TYPE and _PRIM Y are working great in both modes and I don't see any doubles.
I'll continue to do some checking to make sure I don't find anything odd.

I may have used a bad example for ALL~ABS as I'm seeing the same results of duplicate images for images without regions with ABS and LMO after importing to TNG. Also its not just video and pdf files. I also see source images, baptism, census etc. being exported as if they have regions when they don't.

Here's an ALL~LMO export. It appears that it's generating parts where there are no parts (PDF file below?) including the additional images. It's not doing it to all the images but there are a lot. I've been doing some testing.

ALL~ABS is currently exporting ABS and LMO media links in the same file (double images on import) _PRIM Y appears to be fine.
ALL~LMO is exporting LMO OBJE links twice (double images on import) and _PRIM Y also appear to be working fine.

I don't use FTM 2014 much so I read the help file and it mentions that only the title and Link/note are supported.
I guess that would explain not having any descriptions in FTM.

I did find an issue with the FTM 2014 export.
I haven't had time to dig into it anymore yet but on my initial import "descriptions" were missing from all images, full and cropped. Titles were there though.
I'll take a look at the gedcom when I get home tonight.
