Thanks Mike
That did the trick in stripping the links!
Now only 1234 images to download...
Will get back when eventually all are in place and update whether all worked.
Once more thanks
Martin

Re: WikiTree GEDCOM import
Hi Mike Thanks for a speedy reply. I had a feeling downloading images was an issue. I tried a few pieces of software without success and a VBA code in Excel but all gave errors. The GEDCOM was from WikiTree. The links to images in the project that are the issue are: https://www.WikiTree.com/wiki/Ima...

WikiTree GEDCOM import
Hi Just returning to my family tree work after an absence. I hace a project of around 3000 records and when researching found a GEDCOM to attach to my tree. The GEDCOM has links to Wiki but on import does not insert any images. I realise this is due to the images being on Wiki and not my computer. L...

Hi
I am trying to generate the individual narrative report that will include the individuals record numer against their name. (To use in a web application as a link) I am not able to find anywhere to configure this. Is it possible within FH?

Adding Picture to Book
Hi
Can anyone help me to insert a picture into a free text box in the book report. I have tried copy and paste, drag and drop but neither work.
Grateful for a pointer in what way to go.
Thanks
Martin

Reformat imported Dates in V6
Hi Getting started with FH and finding it great. Now refining data brought in by gedcom file. A great number of dates are displaying as follows: "btw 1 Jan 1907 and 31 Dec 1907" This looks untidy in reports etc. I have tried search and replace, tried the formulae changes mentioned here, all without ...
