Mike, You have mentioned FTM2019 several times in this thread but do not seem to use its export GEDCOM capability to create the FH Project I initially ran it this way with the same problems FTM gedcom ==> FH ===> TNG (with the export plugin on default for TNG). I have been trying various solutions.....

Hi Mike,

The gedcom building path took this form:

1. ANC tree imported into RM
2. RM tree imported into FH
3. FH gedcom bound for TNG (with the changes you suggested before in the export plugin settings).

I followed the suggest KBs for each import/export.

oh Harold,
I forgot to say that when I import my tree and next checked the media area,
links (not all) were there. I hit the "import media", because no images seemed to be there,
and likewise i hit "create thumbnails" to bring them in.....

Language=English
Admin advanced setting (apply to welcome screen and app dialogues)=English
Locale=United States English

If I dont use any Language accent marks I am ok for the gedcom export to process all the way thru.

Mike, I changed all the settings to English. The result was still the same errors in the fhConvertUTF8toANSI test But The gedcom export plugin did finish complete thru. There were only 324 lines in the gedcom file as it presented onscreen. Is that correct for over 6400 people? Notepad++ gives me 296...
