Re: Addresses and Churchs
I know that I am new to this group, but having much the same issues around place and address, so I only use the place field. I have read the various bits of advice, but to my simplistic view I found this the easiest way, for example: St Marys Church, High Street, Liverpool St Marys Church, Main Road...

Re: Common interests / research
All, Thank you for your advice. Although I have been researching FH for a while, it is obvious there is still a lot to learn. I will visit the sites recommended, and ask the question there. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------...

Common interests / research
Hi,
Is there a place in this forum for members to state their research interests and see if someone else is researching the same?
For example I am researching 3 family names (Batt, Collis & Sampson) all from the Maldon, Essex, UK area.

Citation assessment & Occupation Place
Hello, I am new to this forum. I have just upgraded to FH6 and have discovered a bit late in the day ( after painstakingly adding hundreds of census events individually - doh!!) that AS can simplify adding data from census returns etc. I have run a couple of test to see how it affects my FH project ...

Links to Places
Hi, This is my first visit to this group and first posting. I have just upgraded to V6 and am interested in how to run a query or report on identifying the links that are allocated to places. For example I have a place called Newport and there are 300 links to this place, When I show the place on th...
