CrossOver and installation of Family Historian...
A few moments ago downloaded the trial version of CrossOver, with the intention of using this on my LinuxMint v17.3 computer- currently I run Family Historian v6.2 through Oracle's VirtualBox. Installed 6 successfully but when I ran it found that my Licence key was not accepted. This is logical, of ...

Ancestral Sources under Wine...
My OS is LMDE (LInux Mint Debian Edition) and I am using Family Historian v.4.13 through Wine and have just downloaded and installed Ancestral Sources32bit v3_0_0. Welcome all to the Family Historian
Ah! forgot to mention. How tiresome would it be to have 2 versions of the manual? I say this, 'cos I printed out all pages - it sits on my desk when I am using FH - but find that it many instances it is too verbose! What I envisage is one for those who are unfamiliar with the Windows environment and...

Welcome all to the Family Historian
Proposed enhancements certain whet the
appetite
. One of my priorities
would be autosave. Yes, I know FH asks
if you want to save a file before
quitting but does that cover the
situation where Windows crashes?
