I see something saying if I have downloaded trial version I will have to unlock that. How, please?

I found the April 2007 instructions to move FH to Vista.
I have moved it on to an external HD and it is there but I can't open the file.
Help please. I am very non technical

I am just about to put another family into the census.
There is a Germsn boarder living with the family at this time.
Do I enter him, or not.
There is no other reference to him and I am assuming it was a temporary arrangement.

I have just started entering my census records. So far so good My question is In the 1841 Scottish Census the head of the household is missing, he appears in the 1851 and 1861. His 6 year old son who is my direct ancestor appears in every census from 1841 - 1901, by that time he is married and head ...

Have tried clearing Cache as recommended.
Still doesn't work, it gets patly through the download and then message appears

Set up files corrupted.
Please obtain new copy of program.
