Sorry Mike I didn't make myself clear I haven't had any name errors. If I did I wouldn't worry about them.
I only import things to FTM to provide connections to Ancestry. If any name errors appeared on FTM I would just ignore them as FH is my default tree and I only work on that

Re: Error When Importing to FTM 2019
Personally I am not bothered by name errors when I copy my details to FTM. To me FH is my default tree and I work on that all the time. I use FTM to provide links to Ancestry

Re: Where Born
Whenever you use a place name make sure it is fully correct including the county name. One problem some places were moved from one county to another when the county boundaries were changed in (I think) 1974. You will have to decide whether to use the old county name or the new one. You can keep the ...

Bear in mind there are similar place names in different parts of the country. As an example there Is Cottingham, East Yorkshire and Cottingham, Northamptonshire. Another example is Scalby, North Yorksire (near Scarborough) and Scalby, East Yorkshire near Gilberdyke

Re: Findmypast 1921 census discount
I have downloaded one image. This was of my father and his first family. In previous census they all started with the reference RG11, RG12 etc followed by poice number, Folio and Page number. The 1921 census does not have any of these so it makes it hard to save them for identification. All I can fi...

Re: Who should you add to your tree?
I tend to put names as long as there is a link to them even if not directly related tome. FTM does a good description of names linking to me and example is 'uncle of wife of grand nephew of wife of 1st cousin twice times removed of Victor' It is not doing an harm to the tree and wont show on narrati...

Re: Narrative reports
This my option set up. Just like your posting. This doesn't include census images. I have increased the max number of images to see if any are shown.
Perhaps I should open a previous back up and see if I get the images in the narrative report.

Thanks for your reply Mike Here is another image. For the 1881 census As shown here the arrow used to be blue. This time it is grey. I prompt the blue picture near the red cross. Re: Ancestral Sources - small change request?
I always save census images. certificates etc in an external folder which I have set up under the flkder Family Historian Project. I use a sub folder called Family information which in turn has sub folders under the various surnames, census, births, baptism etc. When I use AS I import the images fro...

Re: dies after 1911 cant find not on 1939 Census
My comment about the 1939 Register was because many people treat it as a census when it is not. It was created to register those living in the country when war broke out. The register was subsequently use to register people on the NHS when it was created in 1948. The modern electoral rolls we see th...

Re: dies after 1911 cant find not on 1939 Census
1939 is an Electoral Roll not a census. I have access to lots of these in Ancestry. If there are living people the names are blanked out. Living people are determined by their ages. Those under 100 (living or not) are usually blanked out though not always (my brother and sisters names have been blan...

Re: Narrative file to include more data
Save it as RTF file and when that has happened open it then save it again as a word file or PDF
I always save it as a Word file and edit it to suit e.g. make images larger especially census images

Re: Selective Undelete
Go to edit on the top of FH and prompt 'undo' that will restore what you have deleted. Though I am not sure it works if you delete blocks. I have deleted a number of tiems and prompted undo several times going back to the first item I had deleted. All were restored
