Thanks Jane. Yes I had moved the picture file. However I still don't understand why a picture shows in one diagram - say Ancestors - but not another, such as Descendants. Surely once the picture is in for that person it should show in the diagram however it's displayed?

Hi Jane. They're there when I open multimedia - it just says 'unable to load object. unable to open file.' Yes O have got Pictures turned on in the Diagram Options, but the picture lines are no longer there (although they used to be).

Would it be possible to have a Troubleshooter Wizard? My pictures keep vanishing and I search the Manual but can't find anything of relevance - a step-by-step idiot's diagnosis would be brilliant.

Help! I successfully put in about 70 pictures, but sometimes they don't appear. And todat when I opened up the whole diagram they'd ALL vanished. Properties says 'no picture available'. I've scoured the manual and can't find any reference. What have I done wrong? Or is my copy of FH 2.1 a duff one? ...
