Re: "Find Duplicates Individual" error in date
HI, Thank you so much for your reply. Some observations: (a) The gedcom file I was importing did not have CHAN tag included. I ticked off the box to export this tag when setting up the gedcom file. I now re-exported the file (with the CHAN tag also exported) and the "Find Duplicates Individual" plug...

Re: "Find Duplicates Individual" error in date
Hi Mike, Thank you again for such a quick and exhaustive reply. (a) I did the Restore GUI defaults etc and the problem still remained. (b) This may or may not be significant: Whilst in your example the "set the Updated from Date to this last run date" is shown as June 2013, in my program it is set t...

Re: "Find Duplicates Individual" error in date
Hi, Thank you so much for your reply. The number to the right of the 'Include any Selected Subset of the Individuals button' is very small (49) in relation to the actual number of records (over 120,000 individuals/70,000 families) in the project/file. (the project is validated by FH so there should ...

"Find Duplicates Individual" error in date
Hi, When I run the above plugin and try to change the date from 1 Jan 1900 (by deleting the date) i get an "unrecognized date" error. Acrually, my problem is that the "include and selected subset of the Individuals" appears to list only those records which have been edited since being imported from ...

Re: Find with TWO related individuals
Hi, A plugin is too daunting at this point so I have been doing some 'exploring' around FH and it seems that something very close to what I want is alrready available in FH5! In the FIND Record window, chose 'Families' instead of 'Individual' and you will be able to search for a family by specifying...

Find with TWO related individuals
Hi, As far as I can make out, FH requires that ONE individual is identified/selected; and once that is done one can then scroll through the list and find the individual that one is looking for. That is fine if the number of individuals (with same name/surname) is small but on a large database the nu...

Re: "ALL Relatives" query: Max Generations
Thank you so much. Exactly what I wanted! As for the "Add Relatives": This is in the Gedcom>Export>Select - at the bottom of the window, and is highlighted when an id is chosen. So strictly speaking this is not in the standard query menu :( Tony PS. I am new to FH but it seems to me the query functi...

"ALL Relatives" query: Max Generations
Hello,
Is it possible to export/create list of "All Relatives" up to a specific generation?
What I mean is, something like the Standard Query "Add Relatives" which gives the option to include 'All Generations' or 'Max Generations'.

Re: Relations vs Relatives
Thanks a million! Exactly what I wanted to know.
The custom query worked great also. (I was using the 'search for orphans' query, then sorting on the pool number, selecting all the individuals in the required pool (usually 1), and exporting those).
Thanks again!

Relations vs Relatives
Hi! What is the difference between a list of "Relations" and a list of "Relatives"? (I am getting different count numbers when usimg the standard queries/options to create a list for a specific person in FH5). I am probably doing something silly as I am not too familier with FH. Eg: (a) Export Gedco...
