Hi. I have just had to reboot my PC, I have loaded my copy of FH V5, but seem to remember there was a free upgrade, can anyone tell me if this is still available..

Tony, could you please update your Profile via User Control Panel centre top, and set your Family Historian version. Did you have any customised Diagrams , Reports , Queries , etc, in your FH V3 ? If so, they will also need to be transferred into FH V5 , assuming you have backups of them from your ...

After rebooting / updating my PC to Win 7, I have also purchased FH V5 software after using FH V3 for a few years.
My questions ,
Is there any updates I would need to perform, or any recommended plugins that will be helpful at this stage.

Hi all. Finially back to my family history after a while away. Using FH-3 Questions Please; 1, When opening my family historian i then open a name with 'View Ancestors & Decendants', at this point all my saved views have become inlarged, so each time i have to 'zoom out ', even tho i have saved them...

I am trying to resize the text in my Diagram Boxes, I have managed to resize the persons name also the picture. But i don't seem to be able to resize the B M D text. any help please.. Similar question that has been asked but different.

When opening my family tree in the Diagram mode, because of some mistakes i now have boxes with nothing in.
How can i delete an individual box.
I have tried clicking on the box, then pressing delete but all the boxes disapear...

This is interesting, as I too have downloaded the Census Gedcom, but until just recently have had no need for it.

BUT, how does one use it, or at least where is the starting point, I cannot seem to see it listed as Census.

Hi to all;
Please can someone tell me how to add the Spouse surname to the opening of Family tree Records,
I have at the moment
Individual Reords, Record Id, Dates, Birth Place, Updated, Surname.

I went into Lists, Configure Record Window Columns, but cannot see Spouse.

any ideas ?.

Yes I can understand a little more now, however I'm still unsure of the full benifits, what one gets on top of what we have already, is there a list..
