Family Historian User Group

I'm using version 7.015 and autosave is every 5 minutes. It closes randomly, not after performing a specific command or screen change. I noticed it last week, but didn't think much of it. I upgraded to windows 11 when I got this machine in December and I transfered from AVG to Norton about 3 months ...

Hi all

Every few hours, FH just closes. There's no error message or warning, it just closes. I am using Windows 11 and the most recent version of FH, and have checked for updates etc.

Any ideas or suggestions?

What I posted was the entire message I saw on the screen. I was unable to enlarge the message box so was unable to get the whole thing.

And when i view the ancestor chart, it's just as bad

I have downloaded the gedcom file of the tree I have been working on for 15+++ years, opened it in FH and looked at the diagram of all ancestors - it looks like a plate of spagetti. I was wondering if there was a plugin (or anything in FH) where I could search for an individual has the same spouse listed multiple times.

I am viewing the ancestors and descendents tree.

next to his first wife, his details appear. Then there is a double dotted line, and then a pink box with (2) written in it, then his second marriage details.

I'm trying to print off an up to date tree for my great grandfather. His dad married twice, and i want to have the marriages on separate sheets - and the respective children. Only when i view the tree, a (2) appears in place of my great grandfathers name. How can i change this to show his name Roz I...

I was just wondering if/how i could open my gedcom file with the last family/person i was entering detals for.

I don't want to continue changing my 'root person'.
