Thanks for the suggestion Mark but I really don't know where to look for it. In the screen the only two options are both MAC with no further info. Just plucking up the courage to delete one of them, with my luck it will be the wrong one

I will try deleting one at a time, all it says is 'MAC' not at all helpful, even a date would have helped.

I have two Macs on my licence, one is my old laptop. I need to delete it to add another one but there is no way to see which Mac is which. Any ideas?

Sorry Mike but I do not get the 3 dots on ANY window except the note in the citation specific details in the sources. Even the ones prior to opening with ctrl and cmd.

Yes! By typing the note and then using the ctrl and cmd buttons and reopening the note the new lines appear and by ticking the rich text box it then appears in the note. Brilliant. Thank you. Another problem I have found is that if I want to start a new line or paragraph in the notes box it doesn't work either so I have a continuous set of text!

Hi Mike, You were right they are not the same. The Books, Cache and Plugin are the same. The Settings folder is only in (1). I am attaching the media and chart screenshots numbered (1) and (2) as per yours.

Thanks Colin, located it straight away!! Mike, the Family Historian sample project fh data file contains all those listed BUT the GEDcom file has only 85 bytes the size of the other files is - (or none).

• FH opens project as normal.
  Media as X unlinked
  File>Project Window>Location is correct
  I can open Projects using open project button.
  File>Project Window>More Tasks>Samples>Reset sample Project shows project NO media.

Hi Mike,

I went through everything you said and reset the project but the links are still not there. Also, I tried to add media to see what would happen and again FH closed! I am going to use Time Machine to go back and see if that makes a difference.
