12 hours since McAfee update and still working

PS - Family Historian still running after 4 hours, after McAfee update.

I have allowed McAfee to update Antivirus Plus this morning on my iMac/VMware Fusion/Windows XP machine and since starting FH 90 mins ago have had no probs.
Don't expect McAfee to apologise - they'll just ask if you have the latest update!!

SImon suggested ' if you email McAfee's virus labs at Virus_Research@avertlabs.com with the word 'noauto' in the subject line, there is a good chance that your email will get through.'
This is what I did, I am waiting on a reply (only 7 hours later)

As Simon has suggested i have emailed both McAfee and VMware (as I run FH under XP on my iMac). McAfee Antivirus Plus contains VirusScan 15.0 and this is the element that is frequently updated, eg- Last Update 20/09/2011 Build 15.0.291 DAT Version 6474 Let's hope that we get a result soon!!! Cheers ...
