Thanks, that should do it, its a shame that you cant have local access to each individuals box, as you dont want to have the same template for everyone

I can add extra boxes with extra info and attach to a given person in a diagram , but i cant see how to add exrtra lines of text to a given diagram box, also inserting extra lines of text between existing lines, like all things obvious when u know how, have read manual but still none the wiser, can ...

In my chart, which i create from a gedcom file, output from ancestory, The boxes dont always allow all the info to be displayed without a wrap around on some lines, I can correct this in some cases by stretching the box, this however leaves whit space at the bottom of the box, which can be shortened...

In my wifes tree , she is the root person, I am there as her husband, all her ancestors show the marriages in the female line as we want but for myself and our childrens marriages these are not being shown, I'm sure its simple , except i dont know how, can anyone please help

Spoke too soon, sorry to be a pain but whilst its nearly there as using ancestor + descendant diagram , ladies multiple husbands who have died etc are not display as they are on a all ancestors diagram, have played around with text editing with no success, have u any idea how these can be displayed ...

Used my brain for a change and changed from a all ancestors diagram to anc and dec diagram and looks good, not bothered that my direct ancestors are repeated looks good thx

Have done what u suggested and it puts all the siblings in the mothers box and is just waht i want , however the siblings are still displayed, obviously i want to remove all the ones that aren't a direct ancestor, ie just leave that one in place. Any suggestions
