Just thought I'd give you an update on where I am with using FH on Ubuntu with Wine. I have since moved on to Natty from Meerkat. I've solved it by loading Family Historian on both computers.

I am considering running Ancestral Sources on a different computer to the one I run Family Historian on. The reason for this madness is that my main computer runs Linux and sadly I am unable to get Ancestral Sources to work on it. Do you think this is workable? The 2 computers are networked and so I...

No luck with Ancestral Sources though due to it using .net framework.

If anybody knows how to get it going please post here.
