The external links only is picking up the "Onedrive" path not the desktop path. How can I o...

pc to pc migration probs
I expect this a question that rears up often. My old comp is gradually giving up on me so I want to migrate my project to a new one. I have followed the info on the web page, https://www.fhug.org.uk/wiki/doku.php?id=how_to:family_historian_migration_guide , but my media/photos does not open on the F...

No backup request on closure
When I close down V5 FH it used to give me the option to choose backup or skip, but now I get no box at all, has something been disabled, equally how can I get this useful tool back. I do know the long winded way of backing up, but this was more convenient. Many thanks

But now when I backup as entire project only the new media files are downloaded to folder taking a few minutes stating 13...

linking cousins that marry
I have a distant cousin John that married Sarah. I put all loads of details in for Sarah and John at the time I discovered that they married. What I didn't know at that time was that they were cousins through Johns mother and Sarah's mother (both obviously sisters). My question is how do I link this...

I have just found on the 1861 census a 'Whiteford A Stoddard' aged 1 grandson in Clapham. On BMD the A is for Arthur. Is there a slim chance he might have fathered Arthur and the name incorporated, just an idea.

Thanks for your interest Anne, On the 1911 census he gives his birthplace as London, so I would think the 1881 census should have him but the nearest I can get is A T Thatcher living in Shoreditch with an older brother called Walter, yet fathers & Mothers name different.
