Split a tree
Thank you Maggie.
No problem with back-up.
Computer crashed. Lost my family tree.
3months to re-enter.
All backed-up on external hard-drive.
Happy hunting, Grandma

Split a tree
My Jackson family were all born North of England. One Jackson moved south. He now has a line of his own which I call the 'southern Jackson'. I would like to make a seperate ged-com file named Joshua Jackson. Is there a way to seperate Joshua from my Jackson ged-com file? Heres hoping, Grandma ID:4070

Excuse me Lol, but could you please rewrite your request in English then this newby can understand your double dutch. Just in case I may want to use it when I know what you are talking about, that is after I have learnt how to use Family Historian. The replies are as clear as mud, so they are not mu...

How big is a Family?
Hello Aragorn, this is Pipin. Only joking. I have 6x4 cards but I haven't a clue what to do with them. I use paper trees with as much information as I can. When traveling to Wigan, Huddersfield or Chester I find them very light to carry. Never worked in an office in my life, thought I was good at or...

'Newby' User Manual
[smile]
YES!! Thank you so much.
Documents-go to page, type in number
and bingo!
Where would I be without your help.
This web-site is a great idea, even though half of what is written reads
like double dutch at the moment.
I do love the challenge, keeps my old
grey cells working.

'Newby' User Manual
Thank you for your help.
Sorry, the answer is no.
Even from start there are still no
page numbers.
It is strange as Reader has no problem
reading a census disc or anything else
that has needed Reader.
Mystery.
