If you click on the help menu in Family Historian. Click on search and type in PDF display it will give a way of enabling.  

You can back up or save either as a zip or gedcom. Family Historian will open either. I also back my files quite often on a memory stick just in case!![smile]

Nick It only happens when I try to alter a set occupation but not all of the time. No particular year. There could be only one entry or ten no difference. Can you please help and tell me what this means.I get this message sometimes when I try to enter data in grid.The main screen then goes blank and ged file needs to be reloaded.

Thank you Nick. I took the plunge and downloaded Ancestral Sources. I have so far found it very easy to use.
I also managed to watch the video. Nothing wrong with flash player it was the site !!

I will give it a try. According to various help forums I am not the only one having problems with flash player 10!

Help Please.I have flash player installed on my computer but unable to watch video. Still loading even after 30 mins!!
I have tried in IE 8 & Firefox 3.6
All other sites no problems with flash player.

You need to re-install V3 then V4. Hopefully that should work. Thats what I did !![smile]
