Thanks Mike. That's an interesting point - I intend to use the "living" flag as you say the private person can be worked out but I'll have given a level of privacy yet retain the information for the genealogist - it's a very very samll family in anycase.

Is it possible to create a chart which shows living people with a box marked "private"? I want to put charts on my website with out infringing on people's privacy.

Thanks it's curious - I'm using all relatives and in another case where the male in the blood line married twice both wives are showing - I suppose I could delete and re-enter in correct order but they are in correct order in focus window.

I have a woman in the blood line whose husband had been previously married - I've entered his first marriage and that shows up in the focus window but not in the diagram only the second?- I suspect I've blundered again!

I've stumbled across another method, that is to use a text box for the page numbers - but I suspect it was me bing dim in to seeing that before.

Ah! all is now clear - what I didn't get before was that you couldn't add a second spouse to someone who was not a blood relative of the root person. Thanks to all for taking the trouble to reply.

]I'm still confused - but thanks for all suggestions. The second spouse does indeed show up on "everyone" However what I can't understand is why one person can have two marriages showing and another can't .

In a diagram I have a person with two marriages and both spouses show, however on entering a second marriage for a different person it has failed to show. Settings in Diagram options are the same.

I had a text box with text and inserted a picture in it. Try as I might I couldn't group them - When I highlighted one then highlighted the other the first was un-grouped. Am I missing something ?
