Icons on diagrams

Thanks Nick Yes I had set up the icons on diagrams a few years ago using instructions from this web site. I have now both cleared the contents of the extra flags and then deleted the flags leaving the ones created by Ancestral Sources and added the icons to them. Ancestral Sources has given me a lis...

Icons on diagrams

These had been working fine until my computer crashed and had to be replaced. Now the icons (41 etc) don't appear on newly added census information. I've tried lots of things and have got into a real mess. I seem to have each record flag twice (or more) as 1841 Census and 1841 UK Census etc. Ancestr...

London Marriages, Baptisms and Burials

Until now for christening records I had linked them to a source for the the Parish and copied the indiv...

Divorce

I have Divorce Papers from TNA obtained by a family member a few years ago so do not know the cost. I have 25 A3 pages. The final decree was 1879 and on the front cover says 'CLOSED UNTIL 1980' so assume 100 years. There are a number of statements giving details of the marriage and children, address...

Estimating death

I can see my living relatives but don't think others can. I you want to be sure why not ask one of your contacts if this is the case.

Family Mystery

I do have a divorce in my family in 1879. The wife ran off with the lodger and they had several children together. The husband filed for divorce in 1877 and it was granted in 1879. The 1871 census shows the husband as a brickmakers labourer so I have no idea how he could have afforded the divorce bu...

FH.exe virus

Thank you to everyone here as we had the same problem using Telewest and PCguard. Having reloaded the fh.exe file and deselected that file from scanning Family Historian is working again. This has encouraged me to join FHUG which I had been meaning to do for a while.
