Doh - just found it - double click in the box.

I have added a text box to a diagram but can't find the way to put text in the box. Help please.

My subject's occupation is entered as "Butcher". When I call up a report, it says "He was a Butcher in Butcher". There is no (obvious) link between occupation and any location so how do I make it say "He was a Butcher."??

Thank you both for being too polite to say I should read the manual! All is now well, went back to the old computer and found I had transferred the wrong file!

I have just, in order, got a new computer with W8, transferred an earlier version of FH to the new machine and then updated to V5. Thank you Jane. At risk of sounding picky, now the report says 'At some point she had a relationship with (father)...' which is a little blunt for the odd maiden aunt to read. Is there any way of amending the sentence that FH produces onesself?
