FH stopped working
I have good news to report too! I put a message on General and was referred to this topic where I felt better finding I wasn't the only one with this problem. I have BT's NetProtect Plus with McAfee and have been waiting for the update to go on. No joy this morning so I tried to find someone to talk...

Program keeps closing
Jane, many thanks for your post. I have now read through all the pages you referred me to and found I was not alone! I too have the dreaded McAfee (free with my BT) so will wait a little and then check the update. I am visiting family not seen for many years this weekend so want to take a print out ...

Program keeps closing

I have tried several more times and it lets me get to the person and then shuts down. I have an up to date anti-virus program and am at a loss...

Entering christenings
I have got back to Gt Gt Gt Grandfather, christened 21 January 1775. There does not appear to be a way of entering this as a christening, only date of birth. How can I get round this? At present I have entered Born January 1775. Is this the only thing possible? I have several other relatives where I...

Thank you!! Everything is back as it should be, links all gone and I have restored Mary Shelton to her correct birth year.
I have learnt a lot through this - be more careful in future!

Sorry, forgot to double check William Shelton. He is now showing 2 wives! Mary Withers is correct with all details and children and Mary Shelton just shows Mary Withers date of birth and death. Jane, I must apologise for gettng in a complete muddle over this. You were quite right - Mary Shelton (bor...

Unwanted link
Sorry not to have got back sooner - I was away a couple of days. I'll try to make it clearer. William Shelton and Mary Withers are man and wife. But they have a daughter Mary born 1841 which is confusing the picture. I didn't have Mary Withers death details until recently and made my mistake when in...

Unwanted link
http://www.fhug.rjt.org.uk/images/uploads/link1.PNG Can anyone please tell me how I get rid of an unwanted link? If I have captured the image correctly you can see I have by accident got duplicates of my great grandma and grandfather. I entered in grandma's marriage details and must have hit someth...
