Multimedia Records - Link/Note
Thanks all - I guess I'll leave it as is. Got other things to worry about, like converting all my census entries to single-sheet sources instead of one source for an entire census year.[eek]

Multimedia Records - Link/Note
Hmmm, still confused! It's probably best if I show some screenshots. Here's a normal multimedia record http://www.fhug.rjt.org.uk/images/uploads/Capture11.PNG ..and the corresponding source http://www.fhug.rjt.org.uk/images/uploads/Capture1b.PNG Now, here's the one that doesn't have a Link/Note http...

Multimedia Records - Link/Note
I must be getting old...
Can someone please explain what a Link/Note entry within a Multimedia record is?
The entries are:
Format
Title
File
keywords
Link/Note
Most of my multimedia records have them but there are also some missing - and I can't find a way of recreating them.

Windows 7 - mouse scroll not working
Thanks Jane - the driver 'downgrade' did the trick. In the end I selected 'Comfort Optical Mouse 3000' from the connected device dropdown, as it had a few more options.
Oh, and thanks for the upgrade pointer Stevebye. I'm now up to date!

Windows 7 - mouse scroll not working
Just upgraded to Windows 7 and now my mouse doesn't scroll anywhere in FH, except in Note boxes. I'm using 4.1.0 (RC). My mouse is a Wireless Laser mouse 6000, using the latest Windows 7 drivers from Microsoft. Other apps scroll perfectly and it was OK in XP using the same mouse. Can anyone provide ...

gedcom census and ancestral sources
You are, of course, correct.
I guess I was hoping for something that would ease the burden of converting my existing census records from 'Method 2 recorded' to 'Method 1' - so I dived straight in. I should have read the manual. [oops]
It's a good program. I 've sent you a donation by way of apology.

Cannot link image
I have two families on the same census page. AS won't let me link two census records to the same image - it tells me that the image is already linked in the GEDCOM file. So what's the best way to deal with this? Record both families as one census record but have two people as HEAD in the census grid...

..and I've just spotted the other post that refers to AS not being able to re-read/edit information. Guess that's what I was trying to say.
It's a shame that FH can do this fine but AS can't.

gedcom census and ancestral sources
The way I interpreted the OP and Paul's comments was that existing census sources and images entered using Gedcom Census do not appear in AS. This gives one the slightly dispiriting feeling that all the existing information would have to entered again (even though I know that's not true). I suspect ...

Getting a List from selected diagram boxes
Hi How do I get a Named List or something similarly useable by first selecting boxes from a tree diagram? It seems selecting boxes gives me only a few options like being able to mark them or delete them. I basically want to export part of a huge tree by clicking and dragging around the diagram boxes...

V3-V4 Upgrade
I haven't received the email yet, though my order states I'm entitled to the v4 upgrade.
Has anyone else had the email? When should I expect to receive it?
