Family Historian Manual
When I first bought "Family Historian" I also obtained the Manual titled "Getting the Most From Family Historian". Does anyone know if there has been an update to cover the latest versions (versions 6 and 7)? If there is where can this been obtained and what is the cost.

Re: Will Uploading GEDCOM File Overwrite What I Have in my Current Project?
I have noted Jenny's query re transfer and merge her Tree on Ancestry into her Tree on FH. Does the same advice apply to doing the same from "Find my Past", bearing in mind there is some apparent connection between FH and "Find my Past" in that "Find my Past" hints are ...

Link between Family Historian and FindMyPast
I have put my tree on Find My Past. Is there any way, especially with Find My Past proving hints direct onto Family Historian, why any additions made to my tree on Family Historian to automatically apply to my tree on Find My Past and vice-versa.

Relationship between FH and 'Find my Past'
I have downloaded my tree onto Find My Past and have used their hints. I note that Find My Past Hints are also indicated in my tree on FH. When I accept a hint on Find My Past and click for it to be added to my tree, does it automatically get added to my tree on FH and/or likewise if I accept a hint...

Re: Delete/Edit
Firstly, thank you all for your help and advice. You must now realise that I am not really into this modern computer stuff so I do appreciate your fore bearing. I think I am now getting confused as to what I have done or not done! I still have the details of my Grandfather and Grandmother and have t...

Re: Delete/Edit
Right click on the Child on the Focus window where it shows in the wrong family and select Unlink. The Family record should clean it's self next time you reload the file. Thanks for that but it appears to have deleted my Grandfather altogether leaving my Grandmother with no spouse and her children ...

I have just realised that when I started using Family Historian several years ago, I somehow gave my Grandfather a second "unknown" spouse and a child. The child (my cousin) was in fact the child of my Grandfather and his first, and only, spouse. I have been able to add the child to my Gra...

Hi Anne East, I know its taken me a while to get around to your suggestion of downloading from 'My Documents' but thank you : it's seems to have worked although it didn't down load the pictures but that doesn't worry me as I have these all saved on another backup. Recording Births
Thanks for your quick reply. My question was as a result of a new member of the family being born over the weekend - not yet baptised, ofcourse. Look forward to hearing when you have been able to progress what I think is a great piece of software to go with Family Historian.

A simple question. Births usually come before Baptisms.
When do you hope to advance this brillant recording tool to include births and more?

Thank you PeterR . I hadn't thought of that solution. Only thing is that I don't think Anne had a first spouse as she was unmarried when she had Martha - would the record give the wrong impression?

I think I have found a skeleton in my family! Problem is I don't know how best to record it in Family Historian V4.1. My research indicates that my grandmother, Martha Hodds, was born (1858) out of wedlock, to Ann Hodds, father unknown: no birth appears to have been registered, (I suspect for obvio...

I have somehow duplicated a spouse and although the spouse only show up once in the list record it appears as a second spouse on the individual record and twice in the tree inself.
