Re: Unable to attach document from Find My Past
Many thanks Tatewise for explaining. I have been using the 'Attach to your tree' button and didn't realise it would be attached to a FMP tree. I am used to attaching documents to an Ancestry tree, where the document is linked to the tree you are working on and the sources automatically entered. Now ...

Unable to attach document from Find My Past
I have been investigating the documents which Find My Past suggests may be related to the people in my tree and tried to attach some of them by clicking the appropriate button. The dialogue box which pops up always shows one particular project and not the one I want! I have been unable to change it....

When I come home, having added information to a project, how can I transfer this back to my main PC without entering every single piece of information separately again? In other words, how can I upd...

Linking Certificate Images
Many thanks for the posts Jane and Tatewise. I was looking at the thumbnails but now I know how to view them in the multi-media window and when I zoom in they are crystal clear. I'm on a steep learning curve.

Linking Certificate Images
I have carefully followed all the instructions to link images of bmd certificates to source records but am very disappointed with the quality of the images. The scanned images in my Pictures Library are excellent but in copying them to FH the quality has deteriorated and some are barely legible. Wh...
